REDCap Overview

REDCap is a secure, web-based application that facilitates data collection for research and operational purposes. The software is HIPAA compliant, and the data collected is stored on a secure server at FSU. The added security of FSU servers makes this software ideal for use for projects that include protected health information (PHI) or other sensitive information.

Medicine 🡪 ITS Migration (Fall/Winter 2025)

REDCap projects are being moved from the Med School REDCap (redcap.med.fsu.edu) to a new ITS server (redcap.fsu.edu). MED REDCap users will be responsible for moving existing projects into the ITS REDCap instance. For more information, please use the following links:

Consortium Lunch, Learn, and Collaborate Meetings#

We hold monthly lunch, learn, and collaborate meetings to discuss REDCap and related topics. The purpose of these meetings is to bring FSU REDCap users together to learn what's new, discover how others are using REDCap, answer general project questions, and provide examples of best practices. We are delighted to have guest speakers at each virtual meeting to present their project and use-cases of REDCap.
