Agisoft Metashape requires an environment module

In order to use Agisoft Metashape, you must first load the appropriate environment module: 

module load metashape-standard

This application is available in Open OnDemand.

Agisoft Metashape is a stand-alone software product that performs photogrammetric processing of digital images and generates 3D spatial data to be used in GIS applications, cultural heritage documentation, and visual effects production as well as for indirect measurements of objects of various scales.

Accessing Metashape with Open OnDemand#

Note

You must be a member of the IDHI compute group to run Metashape. If you want to run this program, please contact us and request membership.

First, you must upload your data onto the HPC. Or, if your files are small, you can upload them directly using Open OnDemand

  1. Log into Open OnDemand
  2. In the top navigation bar, select "Interactive Apps" and then from the drop down, "Agisoft Metashape".
  3. In the Slurm Account/partition enter "idhicompute".
  4. Set:
    1. Number of hours to how long you need to run your model
    2. Number of cores to 16
    3. Memory per core to 4000
    4. Agisoft Metashape Edition to "Agisoft Metashape Pro"
  5. Click "Launch" to queue your job.
  6. When your interactive job has started, click Launch.
  7. A new tab will open, and the Agisoft Metashape application will launch shortly after.
