Learning Resources

We offer several training, outreach, and support opportunities for using RCC Resources. Part of our mission is to remove barriers between scientists and students, and the resources needed to complete their work.

RCC Resources#

  • LinkedIn Learning - We've curated some tutorials from LinkedIn Learning, which FSU provides to students, faculty, and staff at no-charge. These self-guided video trainings should be able to get you up-to-speed on various topics at all levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

  • Workshops and Training Events - We conduct several workshops and training events throughout the year in order to introduce new users to our resources. We also occasionally host lunch-and-learns and roundtable discussions to focus on specific areas of science or software tools.

  • In-person support - If you need help, you can always send a support request. Our full-time staff of applications and systems specialists will respond to your request timely fashion.

Partner Resources#

  • ACCESS (formerly XSEDE) - FSU partners with the Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem which RCC users can take advantage of to use the many ACCESS resources available online.

  • Coursera - Coursera is an education platform that partners with top universities and organizations worldwide, to offer courses online for anyone to take, for free. Coursera regularly provides high-quality online courses in Scientific Computing.
